2022 Integirls Math Competition | Integirls 국제수학경시대회
INTEGIRLS는 STEM(과학, 기술, 공학 및 수학) 분야에서의 남녀 격차를 해소하기 위해 미국에서 설립된 비영리단체입니다. 여성과 논바이너리(non-binary;제 3의 성)의 STEM 분야 참여를 촉진하고, 수학적 문제 해결 능력과 창의적 사고력을 함양시킬 기회를 제공하고자 2022년 INTEGIRLS 수학 경시대회를 개최하게 되었습니다.
InteGIRLS 수학 경시대회는 중학생과 고등학생 두 부문으로 진행됩니다. 중학생의 경우 경시대회는 AMC 8 정도의 난이도이며, 고등학생의 경우 AMC 10/12 정도의 난이도입니다. 경시대회의 문제는 MIT, Caltech 등의 학교에 재학중인 학생으로부터 작성되었습니다.
*대회는 온라인(ZOOM)으로 진행됩니다*
대회 이후 STEM 분야에서 활동하시는 여성 전문가 초청 강연이 있을 예정입니다.
INTEGIRLS is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission of bridging the gender gap in competitive problem-solving and STEM. Our bi-annual math competition promotes essential problem solving skills to middle and high school girls and non-binary students while fostering a passion in math.
The math competitions are team competitions with two divisions: middle school and high school. The middle school competitions are around the AMC 8 level, while the high school competitions are around the AMC 10/12 level. The problems are created by the nonprofit problem-solving team, many of whom attend high caliber schools such as the likes of Caltech and MIT.
*Our competition will take place online over Zoom or other related video-conferencing applications. *
We will also have a speaker event after the competition where multiple women in STEM will be coming in to talk about their experiences within the field.
■ 공모주제
- 중, 고등학생 부문 수학 경시대회
■ 기간 및 일정
- 10월 23일에 참가 신청이 마감되며 10월 29일 1:30 PM-6:00 PM SGT 에 대회 개최 예정입니다.
■ 지원자격
- 중 / 고등학교 여학생, 또는 논바이너리(Non-binary)
- 4명으로 이루어진 팀 참여를 권장합니다. 1~4명으로 이루어진 팀도 참여 가능하지만 팀 라운드가 있기 때문에 4명 미만의 팀은 시간 분배 등 대회 참여에 불이익이 있을 수 있습니다.
This competition is designed for individuals that identify as FEMALE and NON-BINARY only. If you do not identify as either, feel free to check out other opportunities we may share.
The competition requires a team of 1 to 4 people. Your team members must be participating in the same division as you. If you don't have a team yet, let us know in the form and we will find a team for you!

- 포스터의 qr 코드를 스캔하거나 기재되어있는 링크로 들어가시면 대회 접수 가능합니다.
■ 제출서류
- 안내에 맞추어 참가 신청을 하시면 됩니다.
■ 심사기준
- 중, 고등학교 각 부문별로 최다 득점자에게 시상 에정입니다.

■ 시상내역
- 각 부문별로 시상 예정이며, 참가자들 중 15명에게 상품과 상장을 수여할 예정입니다. 또한 전 참가자에게 참가 기념품과 수료증을 지급할 예정입니다.
■ 유의사항
- 모든 문제는 영어로 이루어져있으며, 대회 역시 영어로 진행됩니다.

주최사를 소개해주세요INTEGIRLS는 STEM(과학, 기술, 공학 및 수학) 분야에서의 남녀 격차를 해소하기 위해 미국에서 설립된 비영리단체입니다. 수학 경시대회, 퀴즈, 워크샵 등 다양한 활동들을 진행하며 보다 더 많은 학생들이 STEM을 경험할 기회를 얻는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
We at the Singapore chapter, are determined to address this gender gap by focusing on fostering and promoting girls' passion for math and problem-solving. Through fun workshops, problem sets, speaker events, and more, we will help establish a tight-knit community where girls can support and inspire one another in their STEM journeys. Ultimately, we hope to empower girls and non-binary students by showing them that wherever their passions may lie, that is where they truly belong. -
